The unfeigned innocence of animals is sometimes an inspiration for humans. We need to be reminded that our first parents were innocent in the Garden, united with all of nature, before they sinned.

Deep in our heart of hearts, we desire to get back to the Garden before the Fall.

That same innocent beauty can also be hilarious at times, as witnessed by this beaver who apparently has a passion for cabbage! (See video below.)

I love his little grasping hands and his single-focused desire to wipe out every shred of cabbage before his eyes.

Nature is a sacred window, isn’t it?
